ILIZIAN

INITIATIVE

Reclaim Your Voice. Reclaim Your Life

About ILIZIAN

A women-centred initiative grounded in lived experience, education, and advocacy.

ILIZIAN is a survivor-informed, women-centred community initiative rooted in education and advocacy. It aims to strengthen women’s voices, build agency, and break the cycle of generational trauma.I draw on lived experience alongside psychological, sociological, and family systems perspectives to explore how domestic violence, narcissistic abuse, migration, cultural identity conflicts, and structural violence influence women’s identities and family dynamics.

Using a transdisciplinary approach, ILIZIAN focuses on women navigating silence, cultural displacement, diaspora challenges, and relational harm, acknowledging their roles in caregiving, cultural continuity, and emotional labour.

Through community dialogue and accessible knowledge-sharing, ILIZIAN creates space for storytelling, authenticity, and systemic awareness, challenging dominant narratives that prevent women from reclaiming control over their lives. By reconciling past hardships, current challenges, and setting self-aligned goals, we work to interrupt the cycle of generational trauma.

Resources & Tools

Curated materials, frameworks, and practical tools designed to support reflection, understanding, and personal movement toward voice, agency, and change.

Why This Matters

Many women navigate complex layers of relational harm, cultural expectation, and silenced trauma without the language or support to make sense of what they are experiencing. These experiences are often minimized or normalized, leaving women misunderstood and without access to meaningful support. In diasporic and structurally shaped environments, silence is reinforced across generations, shaping how trauma is carried and expressed.

ILIZIAN exists to bring clarity to what often remains unnamed. It creates space for understanding, conversation, and connection, where women can reclaim their voice and begin to make sense of their experiences on their own terms.
